Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Chef De Partie, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and ensuring that all food safety standards are adhered to while maintaining the highest level of culinary excellence.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored
  • Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene practices at all times
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager
  • Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements

Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen experience is essential, with a strong background in food preparation and cooking
  • Culinary experience or formal training is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy restaurant setting
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
