Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for customer satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal.
- Stay informed about menu items, specials, and catering options to provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting.
- A friendly disposition with excellent interpersonal skills to engage with guests effectively.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for hospitality and helping others enjoy their dining experience is essential.
