Job Description SummaryWe have an opportunity for an Operator to join the team at our Dowty facility in Brockworth. The role involves the execution of manual processes either on a permanent shift or rotating shift pattern in a production environment. 

This will be a fixed term role for 18 monthsJob DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:  

  • Blade composite processes to include but not limited to (Composite layup, Preform & Foam, Blade build, resin injection and deflash) 

  • Identifying and Implementing process improvements. 

  • Identify and hold responsibility for Quality & Environment, Health & Safety issues. 

  • Repairing.

​Essential Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrate their ability to work as an effective team player, taking ownership and accountability for quality and EHS standards. 

  • Adopt a flexible approach to gaining new skills and working across cells within the Dowty Brockworth site. 

  • Demonstrate personal drive and motivation to identify and implement process improvements. 

  • Demonstrate experience of working in a flow line production environment and be familiar with materials processing. 

  • Demonstrate good manual dexterity.

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
