Description

Your mission is to deliver high quality relevant clinical education and support in clinic, to drive clinical confidence within our GP and Orthodontic channels in Birmingham, Wales and Bristol

As a Field Clinical Liaison, you are responsible for delivering clinical education and support to both external and internal customers. Supporting practicing orthodontists and general dentists within the dental clinic.

You will provide unbiased medical information about the company's products to increase brand awareness and support safe product use among the medical community and customers.

You will provide medical expertise, training and guidance to marketing and commercial teams and ensure they have sufficient clinical knowledge and information regarding the company's products.

You will drive adoption and growth, build clinical confidence of customers through education on Align's Clinical Protocols, Innovations and the ClinCheck Software Program. You will remain up to date with scientific trends and knowledge. Support University programs and build relationships with target key opinion leaders.

You will be field based, working in your assigned area.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will…

  • Provide clinical support & education to orthodontists, dentists on site in private clinics as well as within DSO organizations and Universities
  • Plans & executes interactive roundtables with customers to drive case discussion & peer-to-peer networking / learning
  • Continues to build knowledge of business, products/services, the market, clinical or account needs
  • Work cross-functionally to execute & coordinate Align educational programs and supports the achievement of predefined business goals
  • Work closely with the sales team to achieve business objectives for assigned accounts
  • Plan own territory and account management approach
  • Plan visits & group sessions independently and timely based on business reviews with general supervision and alignment with the sales team.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

In this role, you'll need…

  • Bachelor's degree in dentistry (DDS, DMD or equivalent), dentist or master's degree related to Orthodontics (preferred)
  • Ability to train medical staff in using the product effectively
  • One to three years' experience in customer relations in medical / dental related areas
  • Strong interpersonal, listening and persuasive communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to influence through public speaking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Good knowledge of basic computer operations and Microsoft Office tools
  • Skill in establishing priorities and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The ability to flourish in a young international company experiencing significant growth (i.e., roll up sleeves approach and able to deal with ambiguity)
  • Ability to travel to conduct field visits independently at least 70% of the time
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence
