Looking for someone ideally based around Colchester, Essex to work within East Anglia, Kent and London

Our firm is hiring a Water Treatment / Hygiene Engineer who will be responsible for the following HSG274 / ACOP L8 Activities:

HWS Calorifier Inspections (Purging & Cleaning), Cold water storage tank (Inspections, Cleaning and Disinfections), TMV Servicing, Expansion Vessel Purging, Showerhead Descaling and flushing, Hot & Cold Temperature Monitoring, Water system sampling,

Maintaining closed water systems, remedial treatment such as dosing chemicals at sites. The Water Treatment Specialist is in charge of developing, implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of systems.

The ideal candidate will enjoy the challenge of working with new buildings and also prestigious landmark buildings around London. using water treatment equipment in order to provide customers with clean & well maintained closed water systems to meet their specific needs.

Our works are predominantly based in or around London but on occasion need to travel further afield, in these situations overnight stays may be required.

Previous experience is a must: HSG 274 Part 2 (Part 1 & 3 would be nice) required Knowledge working to BSRIA BG50, BS8552, BS8558.

Training packages can be supplied depending on the amount of previous experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring & testing water quality
  • Make recommendations & advise on remedial packages
  • Undertake annual cleaning and disinfections
  • Perform routine maintenance on water-treatment equipment.
  • Supply & replace faulty equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £26,500.00-£33,000.00 per year
