Description

TWC (Services) Ltd, a leading specialist in water treatment, is looking to expand its engineering team.

We are seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Service Engineer to cover the Central London area.

This role would be suitable for an experienced engineer. You will join an existing team of experience plumbers and technicians and have a good knowledge of L8 compliance works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritise own workload effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of domestic water systems, with proven experience in remediation activities such as diagnosing TMV faults and addressing non-compliant temperature issues.
  • Solid understanding of L8 compliance activities, including but not limited to:
    TMV servicing, Temperature monitoring, Cold water storage tank inspections, Showerhead disinfection and descaling, Water sampling, Calorifier servicing and Identifying and rectifying non-compliant temperatures.
  • Experience in closed system analytical testing and cold-water storage tank cleaning and disinfection.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Plumbing qualification and suitable experience to Level 2 (NVQ 2 preferable).
  • Sound knowledge of all domestic systems and experienced in remediation such as fault diagnosis, dead leg removal, tank installations and all other plumbing remediations
  • Sound knowledge of all L8 compliance activities.
  • The ability to integrate and work as part of an engineering team as well as lone working.
  • Ability to demonstrate good communication skills as the role will involve reporting to the operations manager and account managers.
