BBS is a long-established yet fast-growing data business. We deliver address data solutions and bespoke campaigns for direct marketing. We are looking for someone to put rockets under our marketing to propel our next stage of growth. The right person will become a core part of the team and propel their career too.

Our ideal candidate is
a self-starter who will relish delivering the entire marketing function

Strategic responsibilities:

·      Overall positioning – ensure all BBS communications articulate how our products solve data-driven business problems & marketing needs

·      Go-To-Market strategy – develop and execute GTM plans for new products

·      Marketing analytics to track performance and forecast pipeline impact

·      Budgeting

Demand Generation:

·      Campaign planning, creative and execution for multi-channel campaigns

·      Digital and performance marketing using a wide variety of platforms

·      Collaborate closely with the sales team to optimise conversion

Content & Thought Leadership:

·      Technical content creation - from White Papers, blog posts to imagery and webinars

·      Customer Stories – develop success stories and case studies

·      Sales enablement – create compelling collateral inc. pitch decks, product sheets and digital content

Brand Building:

·      Enhance BBS's online presence

·      Industry events and networking

·      Partnership marketing

·      Trade media relations

This role will be BBS's first dedicated marketing person, so we are looking for a creative, dynamic, and enthusiastic person who will be a great team player alongside the sales and wider management team.

In terms of capability, we need:

·      Enthusiasm, energy, and the ability to make things happen.

·      Marketing experience – although demonstrable capability matters more.

·      Enthusiasm for technology and fluency with data.

·      Exceptional verbal and written communication and the ability to work with accuracy.

·      Strong interpersonal qualities, to enjoy working with the existing team, and to influence and develop relationships with external partners.

·      Excellent organisation and planning.

Other desirable competencies:

·      Knowledge of Google Ads and other pay-per-click advertising.

·      Creative and design expertise, for example with Adobe Creative Cloud.

·      Industry experience in software, data, mailing or print.
