Bank Physiotherapy Assistant | Physiotherapy | Spire Murrayfield Hospital - Edinburgh | Bank

Spire Murrayfield are now recruiting a Physiotherapy Assistant, to join our experienced and dynamic team on a bank basis. Working with a registered Physiotherapist primarily on the ward you will be able to develop your clinical skills in a modern and supportive environment.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assisting Registered Physio's on the ward
  • Progressing patient mobility after surgery and discharging patients
  • Assist with exercise classes
  • Provide a high level of customer service to all patients, consultants and hospital teams
  • Stock Replenishment and ordering equipment
  • Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent
  • Help to maintain high standards of cleanliness in the Physio department
  • Support administrative team

Who we're looking for

  • You must have experience in a previous Physiotherapy Assistant role
  • A good level of IT skills
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
  • You must be able to provide exceptional patient care
