Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication management
- Support individuals in developing and following personalised care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with domestic tasks including light cleaning and meal preparation
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client needs
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all service users
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Skills
- Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely and confidently
- Experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable
- Knowledge of developing and implementing care plans
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen empathetically and convey information clearly
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others in their daily lives
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.21-£13.30 per hour
