Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication management
  • Support individuals in developing and following personalised care plans
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Help with domestic tasks including light cleaning and meal preparation
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client needs
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for all service users
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

Skills

  • Valid driving licence and ability to drive safely and confidently
  • Experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable
  • Knowledge of developing and implementing care plans
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen empathetically and convey information clearly
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others in their daily lives

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.21-£13.30 per hour
