Our busy retail bakery is in the heart of vibrant Greenwich (near the Cutty Sark and Greenwich University). We have a very loyal and local customer base who share our passion about the quality of our products, the ingredients we use and the service we give our customers. Located in the heart of bustling Greenwich, our retail bakery is busier than ever and has become a foodie destination for locals and tourists alike. Abundant with breads, vienoisserie, pastry, savoury items and a carefully selected range of grocery products, we are fully stocked and open to customers 7 days a week between 7am-6pm.
We are recruiting an experienced
Retail Bakery Manager
, a steady pair of hands and someone who is highly motivated to lead the team in delivering exceptional quality food and drink with impeccable service. Strong management and organisational skills are key – being confident in how to support and lead the team, being a self starter who is competent in managing the whole retail operation, from people through to product. The role will be both challenging and rewarding and comes with MANY edible perks
Key Objectives
- Deliver day to day operation of the business, efficiently and effectively.
- Maximize revenue opportunities whilst being cautious of costs at all times.
- Develop a motivated and high performing team committed to delivering clear goals.
- Consistently exceed customer expectations through the team and product.
- Protect the health, safety and well-being of our customers and team.
- To be an ambassador for Paul Rhodes Bakery, representing the wider wholesale brand.
Candidate Must Be
- Enthusiastic about bakery/retail/hospitality.
- Experienced in building and managing a high performing team.
- Organised: able to prioritise, delegate and manage workload effectively.
- Upbeat, with a positive approach to problem solving and progressive change.
- Well-presented and a good team player.
- An excellent communicator.
- Barista skills are preferred but not essential, training can be provided.
