Reports to Global Head of D365 Programme – Finance & Operations

We strongly encourage your application, as we value the perspective, experience, and potential you could bring to CHANEL.
About The Job**
The D365 'HERO' Programme is a multi-year, global transformation within Finance & Operations implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 across all regions. HERO will harmonize multiple regional ERP systems into a single, standardized global core model — enabling simplification, consistency, and efficiency across our operations, while respecting Divisional and métier specificities.

The Senior Manager, Global Change & Communications plays a pivotal role in defining and leading the strategy that ensures consistent alignment, engagement, and readiness across all HERO deployments. This role ensures that HERO delivers not just a technology implementation, but a cohesive and sustainable operating model - embedding new ways of working, driving regional alignment, and enabling smooth transitions through each phase of deployment.

What Impact You Can Create At Chanel
The Senior Manager, Global Change & Communications defines and drives the overarching strategy for how CHANEL enables, aligns, and supports its global organisation through HERO's deployments. Leading a dedicated team of two, this role oversees all aspects of communications, change, readiness, and training - ensuring each region transitions effectively and confidently to the new D365 environment. Working in close partnership with regional deployment teams, functional workstreams, and Programme leadership, the Senior Manager ensures integration of change, communications, and training across the deployment and release cycles.

Strategic Change & Communications Leadership

  • Define and continuously refine the global Change & Communications strategy for HERO, ensuring consistent direction, tone, and alignment across all regions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Change & Communications professionals, providing vision, oversight, and quality assurance.
  • Develop frameworks, governance models, and operating rhythms to ensure regional alignment with global standards.
  • Advise Programme Leaders, Sponsors and Regional Leaders on stakeholder engagement, adoption risk, and readiness actions.

Communications Strategy, Planning & Implementation

  • Build and maintain a structured global communications plan and calendar that aligns with programme milestones, release cycles, and deployment readiness.
  • Partner with regional and divisional stakeholders to capture updates, progress, and impacts; distil complex information into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Manage HERO's internal communication platforms - including the HERO website, Teams Channels, Newsletters - ensuring cadence, consistency, and reach.

Change Management & Regional Deployment

  • Lead the global change management framework that drives readiness and adoption across all deployment waves.
  • Partner with Regional Change & Communications Leads to ensure structured, region-specific implementation of the global approach.
  • Align change activities with the HERO release calendar, ensuring each deployment and release is supported by integrated readiness, training, and communication milestones.
  • Manage readiness assessments, change impact validation, and stakeholder engagement checkpoints prior to Go Live.
  • Coordinate regional feedback loops to track adoption and performance, enabling consistent improvement for future releases.

Training Enablement & Adoption

  • Oversee HERO's global end-user training and enablement strategy, ensuring delivery is regionally adapted yet globally aligned.
  • Partner with Global and Regional Training Leads to design modular, scalable learning journeys that combine live, digital, and on-the-job elements.
  • Drive structured readiness and adoption measurement - establishing KPIs for learning completion, user proficiency, and adoption confidence.
  • Ensure reinforcement mechanisms are in place post–Go Live through refresher content, digital resources, and community engagement.
  • Identify risks to adoption or compliance and coordinate mitigations across functions and regions.

Content Creation & Campaign Management

  • Oversee the development of engaging programme materials — newsletters, videos, leadership briefings, user guides, and playbooks.
  • Ensure messaging consistency across all channels and alignment with CHANEL's brand identity.
  • Collaborate internal partners to deliver high-quality, visually distinctive assets that bring the HERO narrative to life.
  • Provide strategic communications support for major milestones, global leadership meetings, and key transformation moments.

Continuous Improvement, Measurement & Knowledge Sharing

  • Establish clear KPIs to measure readiness, adoption, and engagement across all deployment regions.
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative feedback to assess communication and training effectiveness.
  • Capture and share lessons learned across global and regional teams through structured retrospectives and communities of practice.
  • Evolve frameworks, tools, and methodologies based on performance insights and emerging needs.
  • Promote cross-regional knowledge sharing to strengthen consistency, efficiency, and delivery maturity across deployments.

YOU ARE ENERGIZED BY

  • Translating complex transformation into structured, scalable, and actionable strategies.
  • Building trust and alignment across regions, disciplines, and leadership levels.
  • Creating visibility and clarity within a fast-paced, high-impact programme.
  • Balancing strategic foresight with operational precision and delivery excellence.
  • Leading through influence and developing teams that deliver at global scale.

What You Will Bring To The Team

  • Proven experience leading Change Management and Communications for large-scale ERP or transformation programmes.
  • Deep understanding of deployment and release management principles.
  • Expertise in communication strategy, stakeholder engagement, and leadership alignment.
  • Strong ability to translate complex information into clear and compelling narratives.
  • Demonstrated success managing creative campaigns, content development, and communications channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English required, French or other languages advantageous.
