Performance Manager & English Tutor – Chesterfield

Salary up to £45,000 (OTE).

We're looking for a Performance Manager to lead our well-established, high-performing Chesterfield Training Centre — combining strong team leadership with hands-on delivery of GCSE and Functional Skills English.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and inspire: Manage, motivate, and develop a dedicated centre team to achieve outstanding results.

  • Teach and support: Deliver engaging GCSE and Functional Skills English sessions to help learners gain essential qualifications.

  • Drive performance: Ensure the centre exceeds performance and quality targets.

  • Champion student success: Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports every learner to thrive.

  • Safeguard and uphold values: Promote British Values and ensure learner safety and wellbeing.

  • Manage resources: Oversee budgets, compliance, and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven leadership and people management experience.

  • Experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English.

  • Excellent communication, motivation, and organisational skills.

  • A positive, proactive approach with a focus on results.

  • Maths and English at Level 2 (or equivalent).

  • A management qualification would be an advantage.
