Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bench Joiner / Fitter to join our growing production team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing bespoke joinery items in our workshop and assisting with on-site installation as required. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to work on a variety of high-end commercial and bespoke interior projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture bespoke joinery items and fitted furniture from technical drawings and specifications.
  • Operate woodworking machinery including panel saws, planers, edge bander, and sanders.
  • Work with a variety of materials including solid timber, MDF, veneered boards, laminates, and solid surface materials (e.g. Corian).
  • Assist with site fitting and installation of finished joinery where required.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and finish throughout production and installation.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
  • Follow company Health & Safety policies and maintain a clean, organised work environment.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Bench Joiner / Fitter (minimum 2–5 years in a workshop or site environment).
  • Strong understanding of joinery techniques, materials, and finishes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Confident in the use of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and finishing equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
  • CSCS card beneficial (not essential).
