The Role

As a Junior Data Executive, you will support the team in managing and processing data for surveys. You will gain hands-on experience in survey scripting and data preparation. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start a career in data within a research and insight environment. The position is working from home; however, ideally, we would like you to be based within a few hours' drive of one of our hubs in Yorkshire (YO1), North Devon (EX36) or the West Midlands (B40).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with scripting surveys.
  • Load, clean, and validate survey data to ensure accuracy.
  • Help with quality checks on colleagues' work to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects run smoothly and meet deadlines.
  • Continuously learn and apply best practices in data handling and scripting.
  • Assist with the department's improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

Required:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, or survey platforms.
  • Interest in survey research.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a data-focused role.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with survey platforms or dashboard tools (e.g., Forsta, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Basic understanding of survey methodology or research principles.
  • A degree is welcome but not essential; we're more interested in your attention to detail, curiosity, and interest in working with data.
