Overview
Castlegate security services are a local well established company seeking to employ a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are presentable and welcoming. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to high standards of cleanliness, and excellent customer service skills.
The position is based at Morecambe Arndale Centre.
Hours will be discussed at interview.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including general floor cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning public toilets, emptying waste bins, litter picking, clearing spillages and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure that all areas are kept tidy and organised at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand cleaning requirements and address any concerns.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A proactive attitude towards work with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
