Valent
is a UK-based AI SaaS start up dedicated to detecting, predicting and responding to online Disinformation. We equip large organizations, governments, and NGOs with the tools they need to navigate adversarial environments and defend their integrity.

We are looking for our
first Sales Development Representative
to work directly for the Founders to build our pipeline from the ground up.

What You Will Do

  • Pipeline Generation:
    Your primary metric is the generation of Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs). You will identify, research, and engage key decision-makers in our target sectors.

  • Strategic Prospecting:
     You will research and craft hyper-personalized outreach that resonates with C-Suite and Director-level prospects at multinational organisations.

  • Qualification:
    You will conduct rigorous discovery calls to understand the prospect's threat landscape and qualify them against our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) before working with the Founders to close.

  • Process Building:
    As the first member of our sales team, you will help test messaging, refine our sales cadence, and optimize our CRM setup.

Who You Are

  • A Hunter:
    You have 2+ years of experience in outbound sales (B2B SaaS preferred). You love the chase and aren't afraid of rejection.

  • Intellectually Curious:
    You are interested in the world—geopolitics, media, and technology. You can hold a conversation about current events and understand why disinformation is a critical business risk.

  • Articulate:
    You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Process Driven:
    You know how to prioritise accounts, build sequences, and manage pipelines.

  • Grit:
    You are ready to work directly for the Founders, in a fast-paced start up environment where things change quickly. You put in the hours and will be rewarded for your success.
