We're Zero One Creative - building Amara, an AI-powered Unreal Engine plugin that turns "cosy coffee shop" into a complete, playable 3D scene. You'll build the intelligence layer that makes this possible.

The Challenge

Help us build the system that understands every 3D asset in an Unreal project. Your pipeline will scan numerous 'uasset' meshes, extract their physical and semantic DNA, and generate embeddings that let our scene orchestration system know exactly what assets it can choose from. Transform raw game assets into a queryable intelligence layer that knows what objects are, what they mean, how they behave.

Your sprint deliverable: A production-ready asset processing pipeline that outputs structured JSON metadata with visual/semantic embeddings, and enables intelligent asset retrieval for scene generation.


What You'll be Building

  • Asset discovery system - Efficiently scan Unreal projects without full project loads

  • Metadata extraction - Dimensions, collision bounds, materials, pivot offsets, affordances etc

  • Embedding generation - CLIP for visual similarity, SBERT for semantic search

  • Schema validation - JSON contracts that bridge Asset Pipeline → Scene Orchestrator

  • Processing optimization - Handle many of assets with async/multiprocessing

You're Our Person If You Have:

Python + production data pipelines - You've built robust processing systems that scale

Embedding models in practice - CLIP, SBERT, or similar vector models aren't just buzzwords to you

3D/spatial thinking - Meshes, transforms, collision bounds, and UE metadata make sense

Bonus points: Unreal Engine scripting, game asset pipelines, vector databases, Docker
