Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an HVAC Commissioning Engineer, to manage a new client in the commissioning of HVAC systems to care homes nationwide. The role involves commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing HVAC systems to ensure they meet design specifications and operate efficiently. Day-to-day tasks include managing installation quality, conducting performance tests, collaborating with design teams, generating detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and British Standards. The HVAC Commissioning Engineer will also provide technical support and guidance to clients and onsite teams. The role is field based and will require working away.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in HVAC Engineering and HVAC systems, with knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Experience with cold and hot water chlorination, water sampling, dosing of chilled and DHW LTHW systems. Commissioning of UFH manifolds and familiar with flow and pressure measuring apparatus.
- Experience in HVAC Design and familiarity with creating efficient and reliable system layouts
- Skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for system schematics and project planning
- Expertise in Maintenance to ensure the safe and consistent operation of HVAC systems
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to work independently and manage remote assignments effectively
- Relevant degree or certification in HVAC Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in energy-efficient systems and sustainable design is a plus
