Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and professional Cleaner/Driver to join our team. This role involves driving to various sites using an allocated company vehicle across London and the Home Counties and maintaining the cleanliness of communal areas in residential or commercial buildings. You will also assist the Management Team by providing cover for cleaning contracts, including absenteeism, sickness, and annual leave.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive safely to and from assigned sites using a company vehicle
  • Perform cleaning duties as per site specifications, including:
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping
  • Spot cleaning stains and removing marks
  • Dusting, polishing, and cleaning glass, brass, and stainless steel
  • Cleaning bin stores and communal areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the company vehicle
  • Conduct basic vehicle safety checks and report issues
  • Deliver excellent customer service to residents, clients, and colleagues
  • Follow health & safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals
  • Ensure work is completed to a high standard and report any site issues
  • Support the Management Team by covering cleaning contracts across London and the Home Counties during staff absence

Expectations

  • Punctual and reliable with strong timekeeping
  • Presentable appearance (clean uniform, personal hygiene)
  • No smoking or mobile phone use while on site
  • Friendly and professional conduct at all times
  • Proactive in identifying and reporting maintenance or cleaning issues

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
