Assistant Head of Technology

Northampton – On-site with flexibility where necessary | Up to £85,000 per annum + bonus

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an
Assistant Head of Technology
to join a leading organisation and play a key role in driving innovation, leading technical delivery, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Technology in leading the technical team, overseeing daily operations and project delivery.
  • Manage full-stack software development projects from conception through to deployment.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and data tools within a cloud environment to enhance credit and lending decisions.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and business teams to improve and automate credit risk modelling and workflow processes.
  • Oversee the development and optimisation of the Zoho CRM platform, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain APIs and data infrastructure to enable scalable and reliable system communication.
  • Monitor model performance and system effectiveness to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Manage external relationships, including those related to cybersecurity operations and infrastructure support.
  • Balance hands-on technical delivery with strategic oversight and a focus on continuous improvement.

Experience Required:

  • Strong background in
    Software Development

  • Advanced proficiency in

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as

  • Expertise with
