OVERALL SUMMARY

To undertake and/or oversee all of the processes and procedures within the team. Ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner, and that exceptions, issues and related items are identified, escalated and resolved in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the accurate and timely completion of BAU activities
  • Escalating issues of issues when appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with team procedures and ensure that these are kept up to date
  • Ensuring that system / process validation checks are implemented.
  • Ensuring configuration changes are documented in line with company policy.
  • Use subject matter expertise to assist with resolving complex process challenges, escalating priorities to ensure a positive client and employee experiences.
  • To assist with ensuring procedures are up to date and provide technical coaching in regard to revised procedures, system enhancements or regulatory changes affecting the department.
  • Suggest ways to mitigate areas of risk / exposure with the department that have been identified.
  • Provide root cause analysis of significant and repetitive reconciliation breaks.
  • To provide process improvements to identified opportunities within the department which could increase efficiency and enhanced client / user experience.
  • To perform departmental testing when required.

Regulatory responsibilities ¦ Compliance/T&C

  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practising effective risk management taking account of outcomes for clients.
  • Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business. Follow principles and rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the internal requirements set out in the Compliance Manual, local and Group Compliance and Risk policies.

  • Understands and follows processes
  • Strong understanding of the CASS rules would be desirable
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately within very tight deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and to prioritise and plan own workload.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Consistently demonstrate the Firm's Business Principles (Client, Excellence, People & Integrity).
