About Harmony Fire

Harmony Fire is one of the UK's most rapidly scaling life-safety organisations, delivering fire engineering, consultancy and compliance services that protect people, property and communities. Our purpose is to raise the standard of fire safety across the built environment through technical excellence, innovation and a genuine commitment to resident safety.

We are expanding a new national Fire Consultancy business unit, designed to establish Harmony as one of the UK's leading life-safety consultancy practices. This is an exciting opportunity to join a division at its early formation and directly influence how our technical capability, systems, quality standards and best practice frameworks evolve.

The Edinburgh consultancy hub plays a major role in our national strategy, supporting clients across Scotland and the wider UK. We deliver fire engineering strategies, external wall advice, FRAEW support, RIBA-stage input, and complex risk management across a variety of building types.

Joining now provides the opportunity to grow quickly, contribute to meaningful technical work and help build a high-performing consultancy team from the ground up.

About the Role

As Fire Engineer, you will support the delivery of fire engineering projects across Scotland and the UK, working closely with senior engineers to produce high-quality technical outputs. You'll contribute to fire strategies, risk assessments, RIBA-stage advisory, FRAEW support and external wall-related tasks, gaining exposure to complex consultancy work and varied building portfolios.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to deepen their technical expertise, work in a high-growth consultancy environment, and progress into senior engineering or specialist pathways. You will also support the improvement of processes, standards and systems within the new consultancy division.
