About the role
Are you passionate about turning complex data into strategic insight?
As an Enterprise Risk & Analytics Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping enterprise risk decisions that reach the highest levels of leadership. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data, risk, insurance and strategy, where your analysis directly informs board-level conversations and helps steer the organisation through uncertainty.
You'll be responsible for collecting, integrating, and analysing risk and insurance data across the business, enabling a data-driven approach to enterprise risk management (ERM), insurance renewals, and operational risk reporting. Working closely with finance, legal, and operational teams, you'll ensure timely, accurate insights that support confident decision-making.
Reporting into the Head of Enterprise Risk, who sits within the Group Treasury function you'll provide direct exposure to strategic decision-making and financial leadership.
You'll be joining a team that is committed to raising the performance bar—we value curiosity and a passion for continuous improvement. Our culture is collaborative, insight-driven, and focused on delivering meaningful impact across the business. This role offers a clear path for progression into senior risk, strategy, or data leadership roles, with exposure to executive stakeholders and opportunities to shape how risk and insurance is managed across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to validate and enrich data inputs.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in unstructured data.
- Integrate insights into the enterprise analytics environment, ensuring alignment with model governance standards.
- Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to evaluate risk under different assumptions.
Process design and improvements
- Develop lightweight automation tools (e.g., Copilot prompts, Excel macros, Power BI DAX measures and Power Query scripts) to streamline administrative tasks across risk and insurance.
- Build and maintain models to support fraud detection, going concern assessments, and insurance exposure analysis.
- Design and apply machine learning models to enhance predictive risk capabilities and support proactive decision-making.
- Build models to assess risk tolerance and uncover correlations across risk categories.
- Build and maintain visualisations for enterprise risk management, insurance renewals, and fraud monitoring.
- Identify emerging risks and vulnerabilities through data-driven analysis and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare clear, actionable materials for senior leadership and board-level reporting to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain governance over models, ensuring traceability, version control, and compliance with risk and insurance frameworks.
- Collaborate with finance, audit, and insurance teams (external and internal) to align risk insights with business strategy.
Insurance
- Review liability reports and claims trends; evaluate coverage gaps
- Liaise with Third Party administrators on insurance claims
- Assisting with the insurance renewal process and liaising with insurers through our brokers

The ideal candidate will have a background in enterprise risk management (ERM), and insurance and be comfortable working with complex datasets to generate insights that inform strategic decision-making.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL; exposure to Python, R, or Alteryx is a plus.
- Ability to extract, transform, and analyse data within cloud-based environments, particularly Google Workspace and associated analytics tools.
- Experience with risk modelling, scenario analysis, and machine learning techniques.
- Familiarity with enterprise risk frameworks and insurance operations (e.g., claims, renewals).
- Understanding of data automation tools and AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot).
Core Capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for patterns and anomalies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders across the business.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity and a drive to raise the performance bar through continuous improvement.
- Demonstrates the behaviours of leading by example, collaborating for value, and maintaining a customer-centric mindset.

- Deliver high-quality analytics that are technically sound, well-documented, and aligned with governance standards.
- Raise the performance bar by improving data quality and proactively identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Enable strategic decision-making by producing insights that are used in board-level and senior leadership discussions.
- Demonstrate customer centricity by engaging stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure outputs meet business needs.
