This role requires a good standard of written and spoken English, a good understanding of Early Years education and care, the ability to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and a genuine passion for giving children the best possible start in life.

Roles and responsibilities

  • To contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children
  • To be vigilant and protect children from harm or abuse, report any concerns immediately, and follow child protection and whistleblowing policies.
  • To cover where necessary in order to allow staff members to complete relevant paperwork and to cover lunch breaks.
  • To be aware of all Pumpkin Patch's policies and procedures and ensure these are adhered to.
  • To assist with the provision of a stimulating range of age-appropriate activities.

Job Details

Job Types: Part-Time, 12-month fixed term contract

Job Hours: 20 Hours Per Week - Monday to Friday 10.00am-2.00pm

Salary: £12.60 per hour

UK Level 2 or 3 Early Years Education Qualification (preferred)
