Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a national Commercial Flooring and interiors contractors who have opened their new Southern regional office in South London (Croydon) with their search for an experienced sales estimator to be based at their offices and to help with the winning of additional business.

Our clients are a well regarded and secure company with offices in the Midlands and have Project Management  teams throughout the country managing works, the company has four main areas it focuses on:

• General Contracting and Fit Outs

• Schools and Colleges, Hospitals etc

• Retail, supplying Shops and Banks

• Raised Access Flooring.

The Croydon office is winning lots of new business and the Senior Contracts Manager is now seeking someone with Estimator experience to assist him with winning and servicing more as the offices grow.

The Successful candidate will be an experienced Commercial Flooring Estimator with the following attributes:

• Excellent Quantification skills, capable of accurately working from drawings and producing accurate materials costings.

• Strong Interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with Clients, Suppliers and third party Contractors as well as internal contacts.

• Confident IT Skills, ideally with experience of Callidus software suite or similar quantification / Estimation packages.

• Capable of working on own initiative and as part of a small team.

• Hunger to win tenders and to get the very best deals from suppliers.

In the short term, the successful candidate will be paid a competitive (negotiable) salary in the region of £30k - £32k plus bonuses.
