The Impact You'll Be Contributing to Moloco:

The Customer Engineering (CE) team at Moloco partners with the Business Development (BD) and Product/Engineering teams to be the trusted technical advisors for Moloco's clients. You will help the retail media platform owners to successfully build an in-house advertisement business for clients using the Moloco Commerce Media ("MCM"), a machine learning-powered AdTech solution.

Within the MCM org, the Customer Engineering team (CE) is responsible for driving the successful adoption of Moloco Commerce Media, serving as GTM champions and technical experts. The CE team will drive the successful adoption of our products by advising clients on the best technical implementation and delivering training, architecture design consultations, and best practices. The CE team identifies gaps in the product, develops technical solutions, and communicates feature requests to product, engineering, and other cross-functional partners to shape product direction.

The Opportunity:

  • Be the trusted technical advisor for clients by offering guidance on platform integration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Understand clients' business objectives and challenges to provide tailored technical solutions and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with BD teams to support pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical consultations, and solution design.
  • Lead technical implementation projects, including platform setup, configuration, and customization, to meet clients' requirements and deadlines.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate clients on best practices, new features, and industry trends.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, feature enhancements, and product innovation based on client feedback and market insights.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to maintain a deep understanding of the AdTech ecosystem.

How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me?

  • 8+ years of professional experience within cloud, software, or machine learning domain areas like software engineering, systems engineering, machine learning, cloud infrastructure architecture, networking, security, data and analytics.
  • 5+ years in technical field roles – like Solutions Architect, Customer Solutions Engineer or Professional Services Consultant – in the retail or the AdTech industry.
  • 3+ years of hands-on implementation, architecture design, or consulting experience in the application or the cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, the ability to understand and troubleshoot systems and application flows, dive deep into complex problems & find their root cause.
  • Experience in a technical role within the AdTech industry, preferably with hands-on experience in ad serving platforms, programmatic advertising, or related technologies.
  • Comfortable communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience to autonomously identify goals and effectively deliver the goals along with the cross-functional internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English (French is beneficial).
