Carpenter/Roofer

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled sub-contract Carpentry Roofers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The Roofer will be responsible for installing roofs on residential properties within 50 miles radius of Spalding.

Responsibilities

• Install roofing systems including flat roofing materials.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for roofing tasks.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including crane drivers, AP's, Site Management.
• Carry out heavy lifting as required for materials and equipment during installations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in fabrication and assembly of roofing components when needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in roofing is essential.
• Familiarity with fabrication, assembly, carpentry and joinery.
• Proficient in using both hand tools and power tools specific to roofing tasks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
