Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly organised and driven Senior Sales Coordinator to manage complex customer enquiries, support sales operations, and help ensure seamless order processing across the business. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication skills, and confidence in working with priority customer accounts. The Senior Sales Coordinator will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and enhancing internal sales processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of sales processes and how sales coordination contributes to wider business objectives.
- Excellent administrative and organisational capabilities with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
- Knowledge of business requirements, company structures and internal workflows.
Role Requirements
- Liaise closely with logistics and operations teams to ensure products are delivered to customers on time.
- Handle complex customer enquiries and complaints, escalating when required.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with supply chain colleagues to maintain stock availability.
- Support the sales team with processing large, complex or custom stock orders.
- Analyse existing sales processes and propose efficiency improvements.
- Ensure all sales-related documents are accurate, compliant, and kept up to date.
- Train and mentor junior sales coordinators to strengthen team capability and performance.

- Complex order resolution: Resolve 90% of complex orders within 24 hours.

- Customer satisfaction: Maintain a minimum customer service score of 4.7/5
Job Details
Work Pattern: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
