About our Nursery
Maidstone Ragstone House, rated Good by Ofsted, is a small and friendly nursery with a capacity of 52 children, situated in a charming converted house across two floors in a listed building. Our nursery features convenient parking facilities and is ideally located near the train station with easy access to bus routes. Nestled in a semi-rural setting, we have close links to local schools, fostering community connections. We also offer free parking for staff, ensuring convenient access to our welcoming environment.

What to Expect as a Senior Nursery Room Leader:
- Ensure that educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
- Lead the planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the children.
- Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Oversee the wellbeing and safeguarding of children, making necessary adaptations to support children with additional needs.
- Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's development.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols across the centre.
Ideal Candidate:
- Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
- Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
