Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Seasonal Staff Member to join our Hospitality team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain Hands-On experience, develop organisational and communication skills, and contribute to a positive environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, customer-focused, and able to work effectively during peak seasons. This position is paid and suitable for individuals seeking temporary employment during busy periods, with the opportunity of a more permanent contract.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist Diners with menu enquiries and offer knowledgeable advice
  • Restock and organise stock areas efficiently
  • Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and process transactions with professionalism
  • Upsell products where appropriate to maximise sales opportunities
  • Handle phone enquiries courteously following proper phone etiquette
  • Manage time effectively to complete tasks within allocated shifts
  • Support organisational tasks such as stock organisation
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during busy periods

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Good time management skills to meet daily objectives
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
  • Previous experience in hospitality is beneficial but not essential
  • Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell products naturally and confidently
