About the Role

We are seeking 
motivated and compassionate student or newly qualified counsellors
 to join our team of professionals supporting the emotional wellbeing of children and young people in schools.

This is an excellent opportunity for those 
working towards or holding a Level 4 or above counselling qualification
who are either:

  • Looking to gain 
    placement hours
     as part of their training, or
  • Seeking 
    post-qualification experience
     in a supportive educational environment.

As a Volunteer School Counsellor, you will provide one-to-one counselling to pupils, helping them develop resilience, emotional awareness, and positive coping strategies.

Requirements

  • Currently undertaking or completed a 
    minimum Level 4 Diploma in Counselling or Psychotherapy
  • Eligible to undertake a 
    placement
     or hold post-qualification insurance
  • Able to commit to a 
    regular schedule
     during term time
  • Enhanced DBS check
     (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Passionate about supporting young people's mental health and wellbeing
