We are looking to appoint a Funding and Planning Officer to our MIS team at Leicester College. The successful applicant will contribute to the preparation and submission of external data returns to the funding agencies, support the completion of the College curriculum plan and ensure the data processes and validation checks are processed and compliant.

This role works closely with both curriculum and support staff to provide guidance on funding methodologies, data collections and audit compliance.

We are looking for a proactive individual with a strong methodical approach and good attention to detail, along with excellent numerical and analytical skills. It is essential that you are organised, are able to work to tight deadlines and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • You must hold a Level 3 qualification, or significant/relevant experience.
  • A minimum of Level 2 qualifications in maths and English or the equivalent e.g. GCSE grade C or above, GCSE grade 4 or above.
  • A minimum Level 2 qualification in IT or equivalent experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
