The Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Training Co-ordinator to join our team in a pivotal role within the Training & Competence department. You will be the engine behind our training infrastructure, ensuring development pathways are activated, certificates are accurately managed, and records are always up-to-date and accessible for operational work scopes.

In this role, you will support a diverse mix of internal and external training programmes, driving the development and compliance of our employees.

What you'll be doing:

  • Complete onboarding tasks in Onboard Tracker and other systems.
  • Conduct gap analyses for new starters; upload certificates and create training plans.
  • Maintain Onboard Tracker - update matrices, track expiring records, and perform housekeeping.
  • Administer training bookings - raise POs, send joining instructions, update systems and budgets, manage evaluations.
  • Ensure Training Refund Agreements are completed when required.
  • Manage certificate records and ensure timely renewals of mandatory training.
  • Provide monthly training and competence reports.
  • Support audits and assist with implementing the competence framework.
  • Manage the E-Learning portal - assign courses, report progress, and coordinate new content.
  • Act as training focal point for projects/work sites, including kick-off meetings.
  • Liaise with planning and other departments to adjust training plans based on staff movements.
  • Research and source external training providers.
  • Issue and analyse training evaluations to improve learning programmes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to support soft skills development.
  • Contribute to the development of internal training pathways to ensure relevance and impact.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a similar role (Training & Competence or Learning & Development will be beneficial but not essential)
  • Familiarity with energy sector standards and regulatory requirements will be beneficial.
  • Understanding of key Energy industry bodies will be beneficial.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer literacy, including training systems and MS Office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
