Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
  • Execute picking and packing tasks for outgoing shipments, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and materials to identify any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Deliver Good to customer in Van

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous; certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of materials handling techniques and best practices.
  • Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for equipment maintenance tasks.
  • Experience in construction or related fields may be advantageous for certain roles within the warehouse.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Must Have a Driving Licence
  • Must Be able to read and write in english

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
