Support Worker – Children

Experienced and reliable Support Workers to join our growing team providing community-based support to children and young people with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, epilepsy, learning disabilities, and behavioural challenges.
Your role will be to provide consistent, high-quality care that promotes independence, safety, and wellbeing — while offering families a vital break from their caring responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or 2:1 support within the community and/or home environment
- Assist with personal care, meal times, and sensory or recreational activities
- Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour management
- Follow care plans and risk assessments accurately
- Maintain clear and professional communication with parents, schools, and care coordinators
- Administer medication (training provided where required)
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
- Understanding of autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviour
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and work within structured routines
- Valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
- Driving licence (preferred but not essential)
