Graduate Building Surveyor

Are you ready to make a difference in New Zealand's built environment? We're looking for a Building Surveyor to join our team and provide expert advice across a wide range of property and construction projects.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

• Inspecting and reporting on the condition and compliance of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Carrying out pre-purchase, pre-construction, and dilapidation surveys.
• Identifying building defects (weathertightness, seismic issues, durability problems) and recommending solutions.
• Managing and advising on remedial works, refurbishments, and maintenance programmes.
• Preparing expert reports for clients, councils, or tribunals.

What We're Looking For

• Tertiary qualification in Building Surveying.
• Membership (or working towards membership) of NZIBS, RICS preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing high-quality reports.
• A problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• A current NZ driver's licence.
