About Us:
At Judicium Education, we exist to keep schools and trusts safe through trusted, high-quality professional services. We're proud of our reputation for reliability and our commitment to helping education leaders succeed.
We believe in empowering our people. Whether you're looking to grow in a governance career or bring transferable skills into a meaningful role, we'll support you with tailored development, regular briefings, and access to exclusive training - all while offering the flexibility to shape your work around your life.
About the Role:
We're looking for motivated individuals to join our respected team of Governance Professionals, supporting schools and trusts across the country.
This is a flexible, home-based role with occasional travel to client schools and meetings at our Head Office. You'll work directly with school governing bodies, providing expert advice, preparing meeting documentation, and ensuring schools meet statutory governance requirements.
This role is open to candidates nationwide, but we're particularly keen to hear from professionals based in London or Surrey, where demand for our services is growing.
What You'll Be Doing:
Attending governing body meetings (online or in person).
Preparing and circulating agendas, minutes, and action points.
Providing clear, accurate advice on governance and regulatory matters.
Supporting Chairs, Trustees, and senior leaders in schools with professional, friendly service.
Managing your workload effectively to meet deadlines.
Conducting research to ensure schools receive the most up-to-date guidance.
Handling all information with confidentiality and professionalism.
About You:
We'd love to hear from you if you:
Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Are highly organised, proactive, and confident working independently.
Have experience writing accurate minutes and preparing formal documentation.
Are flexible to attend meetings at times convenient to school leaders (typically early evenings, occasionally during the day).
Are confident using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other online tools.
Are keen to grow and take part in professional development.
Previous experience in a school governance or clerking role is ideal but not essential - we welcome applications from those with transferable skills, especially from legal, education, admin, or PA backgrounds.
Why Join Us?
Part-time permanent role at £17/hour + monthly admin fee.
36 days annual leave (28 days holiday + 8 bank holidays).
Remote or hybrid working depending on your location.
Ongoing CPD and access to exclusive training.
Inclusive, supportive team environment where your voice matters.
Ready to Apply?
If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we'd love to hear from you. Click apply to send us your CV and take the next step in your governance career with Judicium Education.
