Our ASE Kitchen and Bathroom Showroom is the premium showroom in Ludlow, offering high-quality displays. Supported by our busy plumbing trade counter, we provide excellent opportunities to connect with local tradespeople and build strong relationships.

We are looking for an efficient, personable and well-organised Showroom & Purchasing Administrator to join our friendly and successful team. With exciting plans for continued retail growth, this role offers the chance to contribute to the development of an already thriving business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Process purchase orders with suppliers as requested by the sales team.
  • Ensure items are received on time, booking customer deliveries, and arranging customer collections.
  • Taking and arranging customer payments
  • Support the sales team with out-of-stock items and assist in planning delivery schedules around delays.
  • Liaise with the in-house project manager to ensure goods arrive in line with project start dates.
  • Provide administration for in-house installations, including sending sales contracts and requesting payments.
  • Update internal CRM and EPOS systems as required.
  • Assist colleagues with ordering spare parts for customers where necessary.
  • Meet and greet our customers in our showroom, offer refreshments, and assess their requirements.
  • Establish customers' needs and direct them to the correct department or colleague.
  • Book appointments and explain how our business works to potential customers.
  • Answer the telephone and pass to the relevant department or colleagues, and help customers with telephone questions.
  • Keep showroom clean and tidy

Candidate Requirements

  • Efficient, personable and highly organised.
  • Experience working with both retail and trade customers, with the ability to understand their differing needs
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong numeracy, literacy and IT skills
  • Process-driven
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and prioritise effectively.
  • Polite telephone manner.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to relay information clearly.

Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, and every other Saturday, 9 am until 1 pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £14.97 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 38.5 per week
