Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. Duties

  • Assist with meal preparation and food assembly, ensuring dishes meet quality standards
  • Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and basic culinary tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and equipment
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Help with serving meals to customers or guests in a professional manner
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Assist with catering events and special functions as required
  • Support the team in maintaining a tidy and efficient workspace

Skills

  • Previous experience in catering, restaurant, or kitchen environments is desirable
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers
  • Basic understanding of food presentation and serving etiquette
