Job Summary

Founder Coffee Co is looking for an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team. We're not just serving coffee we're building a calm, quality-driven experience centred around craft and consistency.

We're looking for someone who truly understands coffee, from perfect extraction and silky milk texture to thoughtful presentation and customer connection. You'll also help prepare simple breakfast and sandwich items to accompany our drinks offering, maintaining the same level of care and precision across everything you serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve exceptional espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with consistency and attention to detail.
  • Calibrate equipment and maintain grind and extraction standards throughout the day.
  • Prepare and serve freshly made sandwiches and breakfast items with efficiency and presentation in mind.
  • Deliver genuine, friendly service that reflects Founder's welcoming and refined atmosphere.
  • Keep the bar clean, organised, and stocked at all times.
  • Follow food hygiene and safety standards to the highest level.
  • Manage orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain smooth daily operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of barista experience in a specialty or high-quality coffee environment.
  • Confident in dialling in grinders, pulling consistent shots, and texturing milk to a high standard.
  • Understanding of espresso ratios, brew methods, and quality control.
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and allergen procedures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Pride in presentation, punctuality, and professionalism.
