Job Overview: Café & Catering Team Member – Cleous Bites Kitchen
Locations: Cheshunt
• Hoddesdon
• Mobile Food Van (local routes in Enfield & Cheshunt)
• Spotlight Theatre, Hoddesdon
Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week (must be available every other weekend)
Early Starts: One fixed day per week (6 a.m. )
Van shift (If applicable) 6am-2pm (Driver required)
About Cleous Bites Kitchen
Cleous Bites Kitchen (that's C-L-E-O-U-S) is a growing, family-run food business with Three vibrant sites:
- Two busy cafés in Cheshunt (Lauta Trott Centre) and Hoddesdon (John Warner Sports Centre)
- A mobile food van serving local businesses in Enfield and Cheshunt (Based at Laura Trott)
- A catering partnership with Spotlight Theatre in Hoddesdon
We're known for our great food, friendly service, and high standards. Our Hoddesdon café also connects to Scrambles Play Area, where we host regular children's parties, so energy, teamwork, and strong communication skills are a must
Our main base is at the Laura Trott Leisure Centre (Cleous Bites Kitchen Café), where all food for this cafés, catering, and van is freshly prepared each day.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, fast-paced, and varied role that suits someone who enjoys keeping busy and being part of a supportive, close-knit team. You'll work across different sites, gaining experience in cafés, catering, mobile food service, and events.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving food and drinks to a consistently high standard
- Keeping kitchens, cafés, and prep areas clean and well-organized
- Hosting and assisting with children's parties and special events
- Helping with catering at the Spotlight Theatre
- Serving customers from the mobile food van one day per week (6 a.m. – 2 p.m. and optional)
- Bringing enthusiasm, reliability, and great customer service to every shift
- Sharing ideas to improve menus, presentation, and overall customer experience

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
