About the Role

An established financial services organisation is seeking a
Junior Marketing Associate
to support its marketing and communications activity across branches and central teams. This is a hands-on role covering events, content, digital channels, reporting and marketing administration, ideal for someone early in their marketing career looking to build broad experience within a regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications Support

  • Assist with planning and coordinating marketing events, including logistics, collateral and post-event reporting
  • Support development and management of marketing materials for internal and external communications (e.g. newsletters, brochures, leaflets)
  • Assist with social media management and content updates
  • Support website development, content updates and ongoing optimisation
  • Draft and maintain regular marketing performance reports
  • Support delivery, tracking and measurement of the marketing plan

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders across teams and branches
  • Manage relationships with external marketing vendors and suppliers
  • Support budget tracking, invoice coordination and expense reporting

Marketing Administration

  • Prepare first drafts of PowerPoint presentations, Word documents and spreadsheets to tight deadlines
  • Maintain marketing databases and campaign tracking spreadsheets
  • Create and assemble marketing materials for sales teams and ad hoc requests
  • Manage shared storage systems for marketing and communications materials
  • Maintain stock levels of marketing collateral and corporate materials
  • Support collateral inventory management and distribution
  • Maintain marketing files, reports, competitive insights and documentation

About You

  • Some experience in a marketing role, ideally within financial services (desirable)
  • Exposure to events coordination and digital/social media marketing
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and vendors
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Confident communicator, able to work with internal and external stakeholders
