Are you an experienced programme manager who excels at using technology and data to drive meaningful change?
Our client, a leading UK non-profit organisation focused on promoting fair financial decision-making and financial inclusion, is seeking a dynamic Programme Manager to join their leadership team.

This is a pivotal role with responsibility for overseeing programmes from initial scoping through to delivery and evaluation. You'll manage multiple projects of varying complexity, collaborating closely with internal teams, external partners, and high-level stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to shape strategy, influence organisational direction, and deliver measurable impact within a mission-driven environment.

About the Organisation

Our client provides trusted, non-profit data insights that support responsible lending, policy development, and sustainable borrowing across the UK. Their work is integral to helping lenders, regulators, policymakers, and businesses make informed, data-driven decisions-particularly as the economy recovers from recent financial pressures. Their programmes play a vital role in shaping household finance policies, consumer and small business debt approaches, and responsible lending practices.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and deliver complex programmes, ensuring milestones, objectives, and outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.

* Work collaboratively across internal teams and with external partners to align priorities and address challenges effectively.

* Use data and performance insights to drive continuous improvement and maximise programme impact.

* Oversee multiple programmes concurrently, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on leadership.

* Engage confidently with senior leaders, regulators, and key stakeholders to influence decisions and shape direction.

Candidate Profile

* Proven track record in managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmes-ideally with a technology or data focus.

* Strong governance, risk management, and project delivery skills.

* Highly organised, proactive, and adept at managing competing priorities.

* Excellent communicator with strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement abilities.

* Motivated by delivering programmes that create real organisational and societal impact.

Why This Role?

Our client is recognised for their strong workplace culture, commitment to employee wellbeing, and focus on collaboration and innovation.

The benefits package includes:
* Flexible hybrid working and a strong work/life balance

* Competitive pension, private medical insurance, income protection, and discretionary bonus

* Professional development and continuous learning support

* A collaborative, inclusive team environment

* 30 days' annual leave plus bank holidays and a volunteering day

* Access to a comprehensive benefits platform

* Support for financial and physical wellbeing

* Regular social events and team activities
