London, Greater London, United Kingdom Fonoa Full time

At Fonoa, we are transforming how digital-first companies stay tax compliant. We provide simple and modular API solutions that easily integrate into any existing workflow. Through our technology-first approach, we reduce manual processes, increase compliance and reduce the cost of operations when transacting and scaling internationally.

We are solving one of the largest yet unsolved problems in global e-commerce. Our tax automation software enables companies such as Uber, Zoom, , Squarespace and Rappi to expand their international offerings more quickly and stay tax compliant.

Role description:

We are looking for people to help deliver our solutions to our clients. As a Solution Architect, you will join our post-sales implementation team, where you will own the entire client onboarding lifecycle for your region. You will work autonomously to understand customer requirements and pain points. As a Solution Architect, you will be proficient at identifying prospect needs and gaps and ensuring Fonoa can offer the best solutions in place and reduce any complexity from the clients.

You will leverage product, technical, and sales resources to provide the best onboarding experience from early client engagement until the client is fully operational on the platform. You will focus on reducing the time to go live, post-go-live metrics, and implementation quality checks.

What you will do:

  • Own and manage a pipeline of global enterprise clients from a technical and implementation onboarding perspective.

  • Responsible for leading the technical onboarding and guiding Fonoa's clients from implementation to Go-Live.

  • Work alongside the Solutions engineers to develop scoping and implementation plans, perform feature gap analyses, and provide tailor-made solutions where applicable.

  • Capture client feedback, insights, and development requests during the implementation phase, communicate them, and streamline them effectively across our Product and Support teams.

  • Build your domain knowledge and become a subject matter expert on our solutions and trends in the indirect tax space.

  • Work closely with the product, engineering, support, and solutions teams to collect and capture client feedback to help build relevant case studies and feature requests.

  • Troubleshoot ongoing implementation issues that come up both on the technical aspect, considering the tax implications, and involving the relevant teams to find resolutions.

  • Manage implementation project timelines and deliverables, ensuring time to revenue, and go-live is optimized and minimized where possible.

  • Track Post-sales and post-go-live metrics and engagement to measure and ensure a successful launch.

You will be a great fit if

  • You are proficient in written and spoken English. We have diverse teams from all over the world, but we work in English.

  • You have a strong sense of ownership. You care about what you do and the clients you work with.

  • Experienced with APIs, JSON, cloud technologies, and ERPs.

  • A track record of post-sales work with complex B2B SaaS solutions that solve unique business problems.

  • You are experienced in leading and designing technical solutions in a SaaS environment and adept at navigating conversations strategically.

  • You've demonstrated subject matter expertise to create product awareness and drive new insights into product and operation teams.

  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset, are self-directed, and know how to work autonomously.

  • Experienced with professional services or tax technology is a plus.
