The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Healthcare Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, following care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for clients. Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality care are vital for success in this position. A car and a UK driving licence is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing.
  • Support individuals in daily activities, including meal preparation and medication support.
  • To follow care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients conditions.
  • Foster a warm and friendly professional approach
  • Drive to various locations as required within the Leicester areas.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, families, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.

    • Ability to communicate clearly with clients, families, and colleagues.
    • Ability to record accurate care notes and complete electronic or paper records.
    • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
    • Reliability, punctuality, and strong organisational skills.
    • Basic IT skills for electronic call monitoring or digital care systems.
    • Awareness of cultural needs, equality, and diversity in care.
