We're looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Apprentice to join our New Business Team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to begin a career in the legal and property industry while gaining hands-on experience in client care, administration, and conveyancing support.

You'll receive structured training and mentorship from experienced professionals, giving you the foundation to grow into a key member of our team.

Your day-to-day role:

  • Acting as a friendly first point of contact for clients, introducing them to Chapter Law and assisting with basic inquiries.
  • Supporting the onboarding process by collecting client documents such as ID, AML, and proof of funds.
  • Helping manage the firm's switchboard, taking messages, transferring calls, and ensuring follow-ups are handled promptly.
  • Assisting with file management, including opening, closing, and archiving files.
  • Completing administrative tasks like filing, scanning, and printing.
  • Learning to follow compliance procedures and contributing to a smooth client onboarding experience.

What You'll Learn

  • How residential conveyancing works from start to finish.
  • The fundamentals of client communication and legal compliance.
  • How to use case management systems and Microsoft Office tools effectively.
  • The skills and confidence to progress in a legal support or paralegal role.

Who We're Looking For

  • A positive and proactive attitude with a genuine interest in property or law.
  • Strong communication skills and a confident phone manner.
  • Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new systems and procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Word).
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, minimum grade 4/C.
  • Previous office experience is helpful but not essential, full training will be provided.
