We're seeking a
Design CAD Engineer
to join a specialist design team supporting major water and utilities projects across Yorkshire. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge design technology and contribute to the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects — from concept design through to construction.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for producing 2D and 3D CAD designs, models, and documentation for civil and drainage schemes within the water sector. Working closely with design engineers and project managers, you'll ensure deliverables meet industry and client standards, while staying ahead of technological developments and digital design practices.

What You'll Need:

  • Solid experience using AutoCAD and Civils3D (or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge of BIM platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM360.
  • Understanding of water industry standards and WIMES/CIWEM guidelines.
  • Civil design background (including drainage); MEICA or surveying experience an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety and CDM regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to collaboration.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
