We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen & Service Assistant to join our dynamic team at The Athenian. In this versatile role, you will contribute to both the kitchen and customer-facing operations, ensuring seamless service and exceptional food quality. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation, following recipes and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.
  • Pack and present meals attractively for takeaway or service.
  • Serve customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, creating a welcoming experience.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide menu recommendations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and service areas.
  • Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and manage inventory as required.

What We're Looking For:

  • Passion for food and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt between kitchen and service roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in food preparation, customer service, or similar roles is a bonus, but not essential—we're happy to train motivated candidates.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
