A leading accountancy practice is seeking a qualified ACCA/ACA Accountant to join its growing Business Services team. This role offers genuine career progression and the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries.

Salary £50,000 - £60,000 + benefits with 3 days WFH

The Role:

The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality management accounts, VAT returns, and statutory financial statements. You'll supervise a small team, review technical work, and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review client portfolios across varied sectors
  • Oversee management accounts, VAT, and statutory reporting
  • Provide technical guidance and identify process improvements
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support ad hoc projects and departmental initiatives

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Experience managing clients within an accounting firm (independent or national)
  • Strong technical and communication skills
  • Proficient in Xero and Dext; experience with Sage, QuickBooks, and CaseWare beneficial
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing deadlines
