Specialist Dietitian
Band hours per week - Permanent
Front Door + Frailty, ARI
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Dietetic team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This newly created post is linked to the Discharge without Delay (DWD) initiative and will involve the post holder supporting activity at the front door and the frailty pathway including remote follow up to patients in the community. This post will support the improvement of patient flow within the system and work towards the prevention of admissions due to early assessments.

This post will involve working within an established multi-disciplinary team and working in a fast paced setting to deliver a responsive service. Working collaboratively with other AHPs and the community dietetic team will be essential to deliver this service.

The dietetic department provides a supportive working environment and there will be CPD opportunities available. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who wishes to develop and progress their career. We participate in undergraduate student training and closely work with dietetic colleagues across Grampian.

This post will involve weekend working due to the requirement of covering front door services.

Planned interview date will be 4 December 2025 in person.

This post may close earlier if a large volume of applications are received.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
